How a referral works
- Initial call with the referring professional to understand the matter and the client's objectives.

- Delivery of the analysis, opinion or filing, with updates at agreed intervals.
Confidentiality and professional secrecy apply to all information received in connection with a matter.
Argentine legal opinions
We prepare written legal opinions and memoranda on matters governed by Argentine law, signed by a lawyer admitted in Argentina, for use by the referring firm, its client or third parties who require one (for example, a financial institution or a tax adviser).
- Scope defined in writing: questions addressed, documents reviewed and assumptions.
- Drafted in English or Spanish, with reference to the applicable rules and sources.
- Addressees and any third-party reliance agreed in advance.
- Express limitations: an opinion reflects the law and information available at its date and does not guarantee any administrative decision.
Confidentiality and a prior NDA
Before disclosing the client's identity or sharing documents, the referring firm can ask us to sign a non-disclosure agreement — mutual or one-way, on your template or ours. You can describe the matter on an anonymised basis for the initial assessment and conflict check.
With or without an NDA, attorney professional secrecy applies to all information received.
Co-counsel arrangements
- Behind-the-scenes local counsel: your firm keeps all client communication and we work only with your firm.
- Joint co-counsel: both firms appear before the client, each in its own jurisdiction, with agreed roles and scope.
- Direct referral: the client engages us directly for the Argentine aspects, keeping you informed as agreed.
Fees, invoicing and the form of engagement are agreed in writing for each matter, in line with the applicable professional rules.
Why an Argentine attorney rather than an intermediary
Matters involving Argentine nationality, migration or corporate law require advice from a lawyer admitted in Argentina who can take professional responsibility for the analysis and appear before local authorities. Working directly with Argentine counsel shortens the chain of communication and keeps the legal analysis with the person accountable for it. Yes. Opinions and memoranda can be delivered in English or Spanish, within the agreed scope and subject to the information provided.
Do you work with investment migration firms?
Yes, on the legal aspects governed by Argentine law. We do not act as a sales agent for any program and do not represent the Argentine Government.
